A bioplastic exhibition
Coffee + Milk
Every week, the average number of coffees made is approximately 25 kilograms (55 pounds) of roasted coffee beans. One of the keys to the circular economy could be found by turning food waste into bioplastic. Everything in this Coffee + Milk project was made out of coffee waste and expired milk (collected from local cafes).
This project explored environmental issues and novel applications for the industry and applied arts during an open exhibition at the MIT Biolab Summit. The goal was to create a space for critical thinking through food prototypes within the food-agricultural system.

A celestial outdoor experience
Happy Brolly
Stepping into the rain with "Happy Brolly" turns a rainy day into a source of joy and wonder. This umbrella merges art and technology to transform a gloomy day into a magical experience.
Happy Brolly comes alive by illuminating the space with mesmerizing lights inspired by starry night skies, creating a spectacle that dances with the rhythm of the raindrops. In a drizzle or a downpour, Happy Brolly corresponds to the heaviness of the rainfall, turning each droplet into a celestial sparkle.
Happy Brolly uplifts spirits by inviting us to dance with the raindrops, to let go of our worries, and to find joy in the simple pleasures that life offers.
